National Account Manager

Our client is a very high growth, sustainable food brand that includes major supermarkets, independent retailers and restaurants within its rapidly expanding customer base. As National Account Manager you will manage the launch into new retail partners and ensuring that products are set up for a smooth launch. You will work with the demand planning team and their counterparts at our retail customers and at co-manufacturers to ensure that placement volumes are appropriate.

You will be responsible for analysing data points to identify opportunities and highlight challenges. You will be solution-focused and use your experience, your creativity and your relationship building skills to navigate through any challenges and capitalise on opportunities.

You will manage the promotional plan with the retailer, and will be tasked with achieving the maximum return on an agreed promotional investment allocation. Your retail experience will help you understand the most effective levers to target within the retail channel to help drive profitable sales and brand awareness. You will have a good trade marketing budget to support the brand launch, but you will tasked in using this as effectively as possible to drive a strong ROI.

Our client is looking for a National Account Manager with excellent commercial experience with a strong understanding of retailer and supplier P&Ls. You will be passionate about food and sustainability and be motivated to make a difference in the world. You will possess excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. You will be creative and able to spot opportunities to drive sales and brand awareness. You will have a structured and organised approach and enjoy having full accountability for the results in the channel.
