Head of New Customer Acquisition

Our client, a premium, global, omnichannel accessories brand is seeking a Head of New Customer Acquisition to lead digital marketing activity, managing a team of digital executives and third-party agency partnerships. You will drive profitable new customer growth across digital channels with particular focus on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). You will lead paid media efforts, combining your expertise in paid social, paid search, and affiliate marketing to deliver exceptional performance. You will work closely with teams across the company to build strategies that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meta Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience using Meta to drive profitable new customer growth, with a deep understanding of campaign management, technical and creative best practices on the platform. Strong expertise in analysing campaign performance both within Meta and in relation to broader business metrics.
  • Channel Development: Optimise performance of other existing core channels (eg paid search, affiliates) and identify, explore, and implement new acquisition channels and opportunities in different territories, continuously driving brand awareness and profitable customer growth.
  • Budget & KPIs: Develop and manage media plans, budgets, and KPIs for all customer acquisition channels, with a focus on optimising investments towards profitable activities. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of CPA, customer targeting, attribution, LTV, and profitability models.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse and report on marketing effectiveness across all customer acquisition channels, recommending optimisations and producing weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts to track performance against goals.
  • Testing & Optimisation: Devise and maintain a robust testing roadmap across Digital paid channels of paid social, paid search and affiliates, focused on driving growth, proving incrementality, and optimising traffic, conversion rates, and profitability.
  • Strategic Development: Work closely with the Growth Director to define global performance marketing strategies, including omnichannel opportunities, and implement channel plans through both internal teams and external agencies.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Digital Marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment with clear goals, shared targets, and professional development opportunities.
  • Agency Management: Oversee relationships with third-party agencies, ensuring strong collaboration and strategic alignment. You’ll manage costs efficiently while exploring new partnerships and channels to drive performance.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with Organic Marketing, PR, Ecommerce and Retail teams to identify key campaign or product initiatives and develop omnichannel strategies that support new customer growth.

Key experience:

  • Extensive performance marketing experience for a Direct to Consumer or Ecommerce retailer managing with a focus on CPA profitability and growth
  • Meta Ads Manager expert
  • Experience in managing and growing teams and international markets
  • Strong data analysis skills and excel proficiency
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Google Ads experience
  • AWIN platform and affiliate management experience
  • Excellent communicator
